The mighty dragon of ancient Chinese mythology comes to life on your screen. In Fortune Dragon at Puji 9, the dragon's breath sets the reels ablaze, gold coins rain down, and every spin holds the promise of something big.
In Chinese culture, the dragon is a symbol of good fortune, power, and prosperity — nothing like the fearsome creature of Western mythology. Here, the dragon is a guardian, a bringer of wealth, and a sign of good luck. That belief is the very foundation of the Fortune Dragon game. At Puji 9, this title comes from Pragmatic Play, one of the world's leading slot game developers.
The game opens to a rich oriental backdrop of deep red and gold, with five reels front and center. A dragon soars above mountain peaks in the background, accompanied by the soft sound of bamboo flutes. The reels are filled with dragons, red lanterns, gold coins, lotus flowers, jade stones, and Chinese character symbols. The whole atmosphere is immersive enough to keep you spinning long after you planned to stop.
The star attraction of Fortune Dragon on Puji 9 is the Dragon Fire feature. Whenever a dragon symbol lands on the middle reel, it breathes fire toward the adjacent reels — and any symbols caught in the blast can transform into wilds or high-value symbols. It triggers without warning, and when it does, the screen quite literally lights up in flames.
Anyone who has seen Fortune Dragon's Free Spins round will understand why the game is so popular on Puji 9. The round is triggered when three or more scatter symbols (the dragon egg) land simultaneously, awarding between 8 and 15 free spins.
All standard rules apply during the Free Spins round, with one major difference — after each winning combination, a multiplier activates and keeps climbing. It starts at 1x on the first free spin, then rises to 2x, 3x, and in lucky sessions can reach 10x, 20x, or even 100x. This escalating multiplier is what can turn an ordinary Free Spins round into something extraordinary in an instant.
One of Fortune Dragon's standout features is its cascade mechanic — also known as the "avalanche." When a winning combination lands, the winning symbols vanish and new ones fall in from above. This means multiple wins are possible from a single spin, and the longer the cascade chain runs, the higher the multiplier climbs.
Many Puji 9 players have reported winning ten times more in a single Free Spins round than they did in an entire regular session. It doesn't happen every time — nothing is guaranteed in an RNG-driven game — but the possibility is very real. The maximum win potential goes up to 6,000x your bet.
Fortune Dragon is a medium-high volatility game. Wins don't land on every spin, but when they do, they tend to be worth it. With this type of game, stretching your budget with moderate bets is smarter than burning through it quickly with large ones — more spins means more chances to trigger the Free Spins round.
Fortune Dragon on Puji 9 includes a demo mode where you can experience the Dragon Fire feature and Free Spins round without wagering real money. If you're new, spending some time in demo mode is highly recommended — get a feel for the game's pace, the cascade patterns, and the symbol values before playing for real. You'll feel far more confident when you make the switch.
The Auto Spin feature lets you set win and loss limits, so the game stops automatically when either threshold is hit. It's a genuinely useful tool for responsible gaming. Puji 9 always encourages players to stick to a set budget.
The RTP is 96.8% — above the industry average, meaning the game is reasonably generous to players. Keep in mind, though, that this is a long-term mathematical average, not a guarantee for any individual session. Each spin is independent and unaffected by previous results — understanding this makes the game a lot more enjoyable.
As the cascade chain grows, the multiplier keeps moving up — and it doesn't reset until the Free Spins round ends.
When the dragon lands on the middle reel, it breathes fire and transforms nearby symbols — one spin can change everything.
Winning symbols disappear and new ones drop in — chain wins on a single spin are possible.
During Free Spins, the multiplier increases with every cascade and never resets — it can climb all the way to 100x.
The dragon symbol can expand to fill an entire reel column, delivering wins across multiple paylines in a single spin.
